- Separate tickets, self-transfer: if the Jetstar flight is delayed or cancelled, the Qantas ticket is not protected or rebooked for you.
- Bags are not carried through: collect and re-check them in Auckland. The economy ticket includes no checked bag.
- New Zealand: you enter NZ in Auckland to re-check. Australians need only a passport; most others need an NZeTA (or a visa). Check before you book.
